Getting Started

5 questions
Do I need a credit card to start the free trial?+

No. You can start your 7-day free trial with just an email address. We only ask for payment details when you decide to upgrade to a paid plan.

How long does it take to set up Zestly?+

Most users are fully set up in under 10 minutes. Connect your social accounts, write (or generate) your first post, and schedule it — that's it. Our onboarding guide walks you through every step.

Which social platforms can I connect?+

Zestly currently supports Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter/X, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit, Threads, Mastodon, Discord, and Slack. Snapchat, Bluesky, and more are coming soon.

Can I invite my team or clients?+

Yes. Depending on your plan, you can invite team members with different permission levels (Admin, Editor, Viewer). The Agency plan includes a full client approval portal so clients can review and approve content before it goes live.

Is there an app I can use on my phone?+

Zestly is a web app that works beautifully on mobile browsers. Dedicated iOS and Android apps are on our roadmap for mid-2026. In the meantime, adding Zestly to your home screen from Safari or Chrome gives you an app-like experience.

Pricing & Billing

5 questions
Is Zestly priced in Australian dollars?+

Yes, always. All Zestly plans are priced in AUD and include GST. No surprise currency conversion fees.

Can I change my plan at any time?+

Absolutely. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from your account settings. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

Do you offer annual billing discounts?+

Yes — paying annually saves you the equivalent of 2 months compared to monthly billing. You can switch between monthly and annual billing at any time from your account settings.

What payment methods do you accept?+

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) via Stripe. We do not currently accept PayPal, BPAY, or invoice-based payments, but these are on our roadmap.

What happens when my trial ends?+

When your 7-day trial ends, your account moves to a read-only state — your content and settings are saved, nothing is deleted. You can upgrade at any time to resume scheduling. We'll send you reminder emails on days 5 and 7 of your trial.

Features

5 questions
Can I schedule posts to multiple platforms at once?+

Yes. You can compose a post and send it to multiple platforms in one go, or customise the copy for each platform individually. Platform-specific formatting (character limits, aspect ratios) is handled automatically.

How does bulk CSV scheduling work?+

You can upload a CSV file with columns for content, platform, date, and time. Zestly imports the rows, shows you a preview, and lets you review before publishing. This is ideal for agencies managing large content calendars.

Can clients approve posts before they go live?+

Yes — the client approval portal (available on the Agency plan) lets you share a shareable review link with clients. They can approve, request changes, or leave comments without needing a Zestly account.

Does Zestly support first comment scheduling?+

Yes, for Instagram and LinkedIn. You can write a first comment (great for hashtags on Instagram) that posts automatically at the same time as your main post.

Can I analyse post performance?+

Yes. Zestly pulls in engagement data from each platform and shows you reach, impressions, likes, comments, shares, and link clicks. You can export reports as PDF or CSV from the Analytics tab.

AI & Technology

5 questions
How does the AI caption writer work?+

Zestly's AI caption writer uses GPT-4 under the hood, fine-tuned on high-performing social content. You give it a topic, tone, platform, and optional keywords — it generates multiple caption options you can edit, regenerate, or use as-is.

What is 'brand voice memory'?+

Brand voice memory (introduced in v1.4.0) lets you save examples of your best-performing content and a description of your brand's tone. The AI uses this context to generate captions that actually sound like you, not like a generic AI.

Is my content used to train AI models?+

No. Your content, data, and AI prompts are never used to train any AI model — ours or our providers'. Your data belongs to you.

Where is my data stored?+

All customer data is stored in Australia (Sydney region, AWS ap-southeast-2). We do not transfer personal data to overseas servers, in compliance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988.

Is Zestly secure?+

Yes. Zestly uses AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, and OAuth 2.0 for all platform connections. We never store your social media passwords. We undergo regular third-party security audits.
